Welcome to Moorlands Home Link

New website coming soon!

Our Charity was founded in 1986 and over the years has helped thousands of older people and their families across the Staffordshire Moorlands.

We aim to prevent social isolation, loneliness, and maintain independence in the home for as long as is practicable for each individual who comes into our professional, quality services. We aim to help and support our clients to have a quality of life in their later years which encompasses a holistic approach to care inclusive to all.

Our practical support and service provision enables older adults to maintain their dignity and autonomy. Through the compassionate efforts of our volunteers and staff, we play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive environment, ensuring that every older person feels valued and connected.

We provide:
•     Day Care at Cheadle, transport provided from the surrounding area including, Werrington, Blythe Bridge, etc.
•     Outreach Group in Leek

May 2025 Update

https://www.facebook.com/MoorlandsHomeLink

We recently announced on our Facebook page that we will no longer be receiving the £70,000 per year grant from the local Integrated Care Board (under NHS England). We have received this grant for many years, and the loss of this funding will have a major impact on our ability to support older people in our local community.

We have launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to support our vital work.

We would be grateful if you could spare any small (or large) amount to help us to continue our services - Donate here

If you would like to make a donation in person or if you would like to meet us and find out more about what we do, please get in touch.
